Plain terms for a small, free service. Fluid Recall is an open-source project, not a company product with a legal department. Use it as a tool, keep your token to yourself, and ask before sending mail on someone else's behalf.

Open source
Fluid Recall is an MIT-licensed open-source project. The source, the schema, and the scheduler are public. You can run your own copy under the MIT license. This hosted instance at fluidrecall.com is a convenience, not a different product.
Provided as-is
The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. There is no guarantee of uptime, of data retention, or of fitness for a particular purpose. Keep your own export if the record matters. The scheduler is deterministic and documented, but you are responsible for how you use the schedule.
Your token is the tenant
A personal API token owns its data. Drills do not take a user id, and nothing here accepts a caller-supplied user id. That means keeping the token private is your responsibility. Anyone with the token can read, drill, and export that tenant. If a token leaks, rotate or revoke it with POST /api/v1/tokens/rotate or POST /api/v1/tokens/revoke. Do not put a token in a place you would not put a password.
Email sending
The Worker can send and receive mail on claimed *@fluidrecall.com addresses. Ask permission before an agent sends mail, and send only what the person asked for. Abuse — spam, impersonation, or bulk unsolicited mail — may be throttled or the mailbox and token revoked. The same limits protect every other tenant.
Leaving
There is no lock-in. Export and off-board at any time with GET /api/v1/export/manifest then GET /api/v1/export using your personal token, paginating with nextCursor until complete is true. See privacy for what is stored and how deletion works.
